Inpatient Department

In the IHBT Inpatient Department we perform diagnostics and treatment of patients with hematopoietic disorders; we provide specialized and superconsiliary examination, and focus on highly specialized treatment procedures. They are in particular:

• Combined standard and high-dose chemotherapy to patients with acute leukemia and with advanced stages of myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS)
• Treatment of complications in patients after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation
• Treatment of patients with congenital and acquired coagulation disorders
• Treatment of patients with aplastic anemia and severe forms of hemolytic anemia

At the same time, our physicians are involved in a number of clinical studies organized by the EORTC, and in the creation of national or European patient registries. Thank to this, they can always base their treatment on the latest scientific knowledge.

The average hospitalization time is about 24 days. Therefore, our rooms have above-standard equipment and most of them are single rooms.
